Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actor, comedian and singer. Her most notable work is in NBC's sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live. She has since starred in such sitcoms as ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and in the feature film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was a student of Northwestern University when she began her acting career. Her first course was an audio-major and then switched to theater when she joined the university's improv group. And that spirit has followed her throughout a variety of supporting roles such as the overly-controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the quirky Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. She has starred in television series, films and telenovelas such as and the HBO television show Eastbound & Down and Capadocia the Amazon TV series Goliath and in the 2006 comedic Nacho Libre. Reguera is a Mexican-born actress. She was the daughter of Nena de la Reguera, was a Miss Veracruz who became a TV and journalist. Reguera trained in classical ballet in the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura and went on to study performing arts.
