Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her best-recognition was for her performances in Nashville The 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013, where she was Claudia Shepard. Also, she played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for the class of 2012 when she completed her studies. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for another entry since she was cast as 'Nashville'. Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). The actress appeared on TV on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. She had a major part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of the top American young actors.
